Beertending 101

This project started as a wild experiment for Tim Slade’s eLearning Challenge—and it ended up winning first place. I built a gamified beertending course in Articulate Storyline, blending Simpsons-style graphics, Diner Dash vibes, and interactive scenarios where learners play the bartender and match guests to their perfect pint. I went all-in on creativity: custom JavaScript, GSAP animations, and AI-generated characters brought the taproom to life. It was a whirlwind of late-night ideas and “what if I just try this?” moments, but all that chaos paid off when Tim Slade called it out for its fun, strategy, and strong instructional design. Bonus: I don’t even drink beer, but I just might after this.
